Editor's Note:  These prep centers are here for your review.  None are specifically recommended by us.  We suggest that you look carefully at the choices and select the one that fits into your budget, your schedule and provides the specific services you believe you need for test prep.  Feel free to ask any of these companies questions such as, "how much work is done in class, and how much is homework?"  If you're spending 6 or 7 hours a week in SAT or ACT classes, will you have time for additional work?  Also consider your learning style.  Some students would find the flexible schedule of online learning a real benefit, while others need the structure of specific class time.

The Princeton Review - Perhaps on everyone's list of favorite prep companies, Princeton Review offers a wide variety of prep services for both ACT and SAT:  classes held nationwide, online group courses, private tutoring and practice tools.

Kaplan - Another big name in test prep, Kaplan offers an extensive number of classes nationwide and similar level of online help offered by the other major companies.

Huntington Learning Centers  - Although best known for its academic tutoring services year-round, Huntington also provides a wide array of SAT/ACT prep courses and tutoring as well.
